Research Interests:

  • Fabrication and characterization semiconductor device.
  • Synthesis and characterization of 2-D nanomaterials like graphene, MoS2.
  • Applications of nanomaterials in sensing and spintronic.
  • Simulation of Electronic and Magnatic properties of nanomaterials

Short Biography:

Dr. Robin Singla is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the ECE Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala since July 2021. Dr. Robin has received his Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics from IIT Bombay, India in 2021, and M.Tech degree in Nano Science and Technology from Kurukshetra University in 2013. Dr. Robin has published several research papers in reputed Journals and presented his research work at international conferences. His current research interests includes 2-D nanomaterial-based device fabrication, e.g. sensing devices and spintronic devices.

 

Education:

  • Ph.D in microelectronics from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, 2021
  • M.Tech. in Nano Science and Technology from Kurukshetra University, 2013
  • B.Tech. in ECE  from Kurukshetra University, 2010

 

Professional Experience:

  • July 2021– till date: Assistant Professor, ECED, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala.
  • Feb. 2020 – July 2021: Assistant Professor, ECE, BMSIT, Bangalore.
